Conflict Of Interest Policy (PDF)
The proper operation of public, quasi-governmental entities, such as special districts supported by tax revenues in the State of Missouri, requires that directors, employees and volunteers be independent, impartial, and responsible to the people; that decisions and policy be made in the proper channels; that public office not be used for personal gain; and that the public have confidence in the integrity of its leadership. In recognition of these goals, there is hereby established a procedure for disclosure by members of the TCED Board of Directors and its volunteers and employees of their private or other interests in matters affecting the TCED. Appointment to the Branson/Lakes Area TCED Board of Directors is a privilege and an honor. Volunteer Directors and others asked to serve the Tourism District in any capacity shall understand the importance of their position and the impact the TCED makes on our region. Confidentiality Agreement (PDF)
The Branson/Lakes Area Tourism Community Enhancement District acknowledges the extreme importance of confidentiality with respect to certain nonpublic affairs of this Tourism District. Therefore, every employee and each member of the Board of Directors and its Committees, by signing this document, agrees to keep confidential, both during and after service, all nonpublic information pertaining to the TCED and any related activities of said Board or Committees.
